Doris Maletzki, born on June eleventh, nineteen fifty-two, is a distinguished retired sprinter from East Germany, renowned for her specialization in the 200 metres event.
Throughout her illustrious career, she achieved remarkable success, including a gold medal in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the nineteen seventy-four European Championships. This victory was a testament to her exceptional talent and teamwork alongside her fellow athletes Christina Heinich, Bärbel Eckert, and Renate Stecher.
Maletzki's prowess continued to shine at the nineteen seventy-six Summer Olympics in Montreal, where she secured another gold medal in the 4 × 400 metre relay.
