Dragan Kićanović

Dragan Kićanović, born on August seventeenth, nineteen fifty-three, is a distinguished Serbian and Yugoslav retired professional basketball player and diplomat. Standing at one point ninety-two meters tall, he played as a shooting guard during the vibrant basketball eras of the seventies and eighties.

Regarded as one of the finest European players and scorers in the history of basketball, Kićanović's accolades include winning the prestigious Mr. Europa and Euroscar European Player of the Year awards in nineteen eighty-one and nineteen eighty-two. His exceptional skills on the court earned him a place among FIBA's fifty Greatest Players in nineteen ninety-one.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to international basketball, Kićanović was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame on August twentieth, two thousand ten. He was celebrated as the Best Athlete of Yugoslavia in nineteen eighty-two and was honored as the Best Basketball Player of Yugoslavia in the twentieth century.

Beyond his athletic achievements, Kićanović has also made significant contributions in the realm of diplomacy. Since September two thousand thirteen, he has been serving as the consul general at the Serbian consulate in Trieste, further showcasing his commitment to his country.
