Drew Bannister

Drew Bannister, born on April ninth, nineteen seventy-four, is a distinguished Canadian ice hockey coach and former player. Hailing from Belleville, Ontario, he spent his formative years in Sudbury, Ontario, where his passion for the sport began to flourish.

Throughout his professional playing career, Bannister showcased his skills in the National Hockey League, representing teams such as the Tampa Bay Lightning, Edmonton Oilers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and New York Rangers. His versatility on the ice allowed him to make significant contributions to each team he played for.

After transitioning from player to coach, Bannister took on the role of head coach for the St. Louis Blues in the NHL, where he applied his extensive knowledge of the game to guide and develop players. He concluded his playing career with the Braehead Clan in the British Elite Ice Hockey League, where he also served as a head coach, demonstrating his commitment to the sport both on and off the ice.
