Driulis González

Driulis González, born on September twenty-first, nineteen seventy-three, is a distinguished Cuban judoka celebrated for her remarkable achievements in the sport. With a career that spans multiple Olympic Games, she has secured four Olympic medals, including a prestigious gold medal at the Atlanta Games in nineteen ninety-six. Her dedication and skill have made her a prominent figure in judo, inspiring many athletes around the world.

In addition to her impressive medal tally, Driulis made history as one of the first female judokas to compete in five Olympic Games, alongside notable athletes such as Australia's Mária Pekli and Japan's Ryoko Tamura-Tani. This milestone places her in an elite group, with only a few judokas, including Belgian Robert Van de Walle and Puerto Rican judoka-bobsledder Jorge Bonnet, having achieved the same feat.
