Duff Gibson

Duff Gibson, born on August 11, 1966, in Vaughan, Ontario, is a distinguished Canadian skeleton racer who made his mark in the sport from 1999 to 2006. His athletic journey culminated in a historic achievement at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, where he clinched the gold medal in the men's skeleton event. This remarkable victory not only secured his place in Olympic history but also made him the oldest gold medalist in Canadian Winter Olympic history at the age of thirty-nine, surpassing the previous record held by ice hockey player Al MacInnis.
