Duke Louis of Württemberg

Duke Louis of Württemberg, born on August thirtieth, seventeen fifty-six, was a prominent military figure in the Württemberg region. He was the second son of Frederick II Eugene, Duke of Württemberg, and Margravine Sophia Dorothea of Brandenburg-Schwedt. His lineage placed him in a notable position within European nobility.

As the younger brother of Frederick I, the first King of Württemberg, Louis was part of a family that played a significant role in the political landscape of the time. His sister, Maria Feodorovna, became the Empress consort of Russia, further intertwining the Württemberg dynasty with the broader European royal families.
