Dušan Uhrin

Dušan Uhrin, born on February fifth, nineteen forty-three, is a distinguished figure in the world of football, both as a player and a coach. Hailing from the Nitra District in the Slovak part of Czechoslovakia, he moved to Prague at the tender age of sixteen, where his passion for the sport flourished.

Uhrin's coaching career is marked by significant achievements, including his tenure with the Czech Republic national team from nineteen ninety-four to nineteen ninety-seven. During this period, he led the team in forty-eight matches, culminating in a remarkable run to the finals of the nineteen ninety-six UEFA European Championship, where they finished as runners-up.

In addition to his national team responsibilities, Uhrin has also coached various clubs across Europe and the Middle East. His club coaching experience includes stints with prominent Czech teams such as Sparta Prague, FC Hradec Králové, Rudá Hvězda Cheb, Bohemians, and Teplice. Furthermore, he has taken the helm at international clubs, including Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, AIK in Sweden, AEL Limassol and APOEL FC in Cyprus, and Maccabi Haifa FC in Israel.
