Dutch Mantel

Dutch Mantel, born Wayne Cowan on November twenty-ninth, nineteen forty-nine, is a prominent figure in the world of professional wrestling. With a career that began in nineteen seventy-two, he quickly made a name for himself in regional and independent circuits, showcasing his talents as a wrestler and later as a manager and booker.

Known for his ring persona as 'Dirty' Dutch Mantell, he gained significant recognition in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). His versatility allowed him to transition into the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), where he portrayed the character Uncle Zebekiah in the mid-nineties and later returned in the 2010s as Zeb Colter.

Beyond his in-ring performances, Mantel has made substantial contributions behind the scenes. He served as a booker for various wrestling promotions, including the World Wrestling Council (WWC), International Wrestling Association, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), as well as Championship Wrestling from Florida.

In May twenty-twenty-two, Mantel expanded his reach in the wrestling community by co-hosting 'Story Time with Dutch Mantel' alongside James Romero on the WSI Network, further solidifying his legacy in the industry.
