E'Twaun Moore, born on February twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-nine, is a distinguished American former professional basketball player who has transitioned into a scouting role for the Chicago Bulls in the National Basketball Association (NBA). His basketball journey began in high school, where he led East Chicago's Central High School to an IHSAA state championship, showcasing his talent early on.
Moore's collegiate career at Purdue University was marked by significant achievements. He earned second-team All-Big Ten honors as both a freshman and sophomore, and as a junior and senior, he was recognized as a first-team All-Big Ten selection. His academic prowess was equally impressive, as he was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection and received second-team Academic All-American honors at the conclusion of the 2009–10 Big Ten Conference regular season.
After being drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft, Moore made his NBA debut in December of that year. His career included stints with the Orlando Magic, where he was traded in July 2012, and the New Orleans Pelicans, where he achieved a career-high of thirty-six points in a game against the Houston Rockets in December 2017. He also played for the Phoenix Suns during the 2020–21 season, contributing to the team's run to the NBA Finals.
In September 2014, Moore signed with the Bulls, playing for two seasons before joining the Pelicans in 2016. He returned to the Magic for the 2021–22 season but faced a setback due to a preseason knee injury, leading to his release without playing a game. In twenty twenty-four, he was appointed as a scout for the Bulls, marking a new chapter in his basketball career.
