Ede Király

Ede Király, born on February twenty-third, nineteen twenty-six, was a distinguished Hungarian figure skater who made his mark in both men's singles and pairs competitions. His remarkable talent shone brightly as he earned three World medals in men's singles, securing silver in nineteen forty-nine and nineteen fifty, along with a bronze in nineteen forty-eight. Király's prowess on the ice was further highlighted by his triumph as the European champion in nineteen fifty and his impressive six-time reign as the Hungarian national champion.

In addition to his singles success, Király excelled in pairs skating alongside his partner Andrea Kékesy. Together, they achieved significant milestones, including a silver medal at the nineteen forty-eight Olympics and the prestigious title of World champions in nineteen forty-nine.
