She made history as the youngest athlete to join the Canadian Senior National Team at the tender age of fifteen, showcasing her exceptional talent from an early age.

Throughout her illustrious career, Donatelli earned a remarkable ten medals at various World Championships between nineteen eighty-six and nineteen ninety-two. Her Olympic journey began in the nineteen eighty-eight Winter Olympics, where she secured a silver medal in the women's five hundred meter event, a significant achievement during a time when short track speed skating was still considered a demonstration sport.

After hanging up her skates, Eden married Julian Green, an English speed skater and coach. Together, they have three children and share a passion for the sport. The family is actively involved in coaching the Ridge Meadows Racers in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, where they continue to inspire the next generation of speed skaters.
