Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce, born on March eighteenth, eighteen seventy-seven, was an American clairvoyant renowned for his unique ability to diagnose ailments and recommend treatments while in a sleep-like state. His remarkable talent led to thousands of transcribed sessions where he addressed a wide array of topics, including healing, reincarnation, dreams, the afterlife, past lives, nutrition, Atlantis, and predictions of future events.

Despite his extraordinary abilities, Cayce identified as a devout Christian and distanced himself from spiritualism, asserting that he did not communicate with spirits. His work and insights have positioned him as a pivotal figure in the New Age movement, influencing many of its core beliefs and practices.

In nineteen thirty-one, Cayce established the Association for Research and Enlightenment, a non-profit organization dedicated to exploring his teachings and the broader implications of his work. His life and contributions were further popularized in nineteen forty-two with the publication of a sympathetic biography titled There is a River, authored by journalist Thomas Sugrue.
