Edmundo Suárez

Edmundo Suárez, affectionately known as Mundo, was a prominent figure in Spanish football, both as a player and a coach. Born on January 22, 1916, in Barakaldo, he made a significant impact on the sport during his career, particularly with Valencia CF, where he spent the majority of his playing years.

As a forward, Suárez showcased his exceptional skills and goal-scoring ability, amassing an impressive total of one hundred ninety-five goals in two hundred thirty-one appearances in La Liga. His remarkable performance placed him among the top ten all-time goal scorers in the league as of two thousand nine.
