Edna Kiplagat, born on November fifteenth, nineteen seventy-nine, is a distinguished Kenyan professional long-distance runner and police officer. She has made a significant mark in the world of athletics, particularly in marathon running, where she has achieved remarkable success.

Her journey to elite status began with impressive victories at the Los Angeles and New York City Marathons in two thousand ten. Kiplagat's prowess was further solidified when she became the World Champion in the marathon in both two thousand eleven and two thousand thirteen, showcasing her exceptional talent on the global stage.

In two thousand twelve, she set her personal best time of two hours, nineteen minutes, and fifty seconds at the London Marathon, a record that stands as a testament to her dedication and skill.
