Edurne Pasaban

Edurne Pasaban, born on August 1, 1973, is a renowned Basque Spanish mountaineer, businessperson, and podcaster. Her remarkable journey in the world of high-altitude climbing is marked by her historic achievement on May 17, 2010, when she became the first woman to conquer all fourteen of the eight-thousanders, a feat accomplished by only twenty-one individuals in total.

Pasaban's passion for mountaineering ignited when she reached the summit of Mount Everest on May 23, 2001, marking her first ascent of an eight-thousand-meter peak. This monumental climb set the stage for her future endeavors in the mountains, showcasing her determination and skill.
