Eilidh Doyle

Eilidh Doyle, born on February twentieth, nineteen eighty-seven, is a distinguished British retired track and field athlete. Known for her prowess in the 400 metres hurdles and the 400 metres flat, she initially competed under the name Eilidh Child. Throughout her career, she showcased her exceptional talent in both outdoor and indoor events, particularly excelling in the 4 × 400 metres relay.

Her athletic journey reached remarkable heights as she represented Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, and she further solidified her legacy by winning an Olympic bronze medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. Eilidh's individual accolades include being crowned the 2014 European Champion and securing three Commonwealth silver medals in the 400 metres hurdles across the years two thousand ten, two thousand fourteen, and two thousand eighteen.
