Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Ejae

Kim Eun-jae, known professionally as Ejae, is a talented South Korean and American singer, songwriter, and record producer born on December 6, 1991. A graduate of New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Ejae began her journey in the music industry as a trainee for SM Entertainment in 2003. Although she did not debut as a solo artist or as part of a music group, her passion for music led her to carve a niche in songwriting and production.

Ejae gained recognition for her contributions to K-pop, collaborating with prominent acts such as Red Velvet, Aespa, Twice, and Le Sserafim. One of her notable achievements includes co-writing the hit song "Psycho" for Red Velvet, which reached the top of the US Billboard World Digital Songs chart, showcasing her talent and influence in the industry.

Her international breakthrough came in 2025 when she provided the singing voice for Rumi in the animated film KPop Demon Hunters, produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Netflix. Ejae also co-wrote several songs for the film's soundtrack, including the chart-topping single "Golden," which not only dominated the Billboard Hot 100 but also earned four Grammy Award nominations, including Song of the Year.

"Golden" made history as the first K-pop song to win multiple prestigious North American industry awards, including the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media, the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, and the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Following this success, Ejae released her debut solo single "In Another World" on October 24, 2025, and followed it up with another single, "Time After Time," on February 6, 2026, marking the beginning of her solo career.
