El Anatsui

El Anatsui, born in 1944, is a distinguished Ghanaian sculptor whose artistic journey has largely unfolded in Nigeria. Renowned for his innovative approach, Anatsui has captivated the international art scene with his remarkable bottle-top installations. These intricate works are crafted from thousands of aluminum pieces sourced from alcohol recycling stations, meticulously sewn together with copper wire to create stunning, cloth-like wall sculptures.
