El Phantasmo, born on October twenty-fourth, nineteen eighty-six, is a prominent Canadian professional wrestler known for his dynamic performances in the ring. Currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), he captivates audiences with his unique style and charisma, often referred to by his initials, ELP.
Throughout his career in NJPW, El Phantasmo has made a significant impact as a former member of the notorious Bullet Club. During his time with the faction, he achieved remarkable success, becoming a three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion alongside Taiji Ishimori and winning the prestigious Super J-Cup twice.
In twenty twenty-three, Phantasmo transitioned to the heavyweight division, marking a new chapter in his wrestling journey. This shift also led to his departure from Bullet Club, after which he joined forces with the Guerrillas of Destiny. Partnering with Hikuleo, he captured the Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship twice and the IWGP Tag Team Championship once, even holding both titles simultaneously.
El Phantasmo's accolades continued to grow, culminating in his first singles title victory, the NJPW World Television Championship, at Wrestle Kingdom nineteen in January twenty twenty-five. Beyond NJPW, he has also showcased his talents in Impact Wrestling and various independent promotions across Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.
