Eleanor Catton

Eleanor Catton, a distinguished novelist and screenwriter, was born on September twenty-fourth, nineteen eighty-five, in Canada. She relocated to New Zealand during her childhood and spent her formative years in Christchurch. Catton's passion for storytelling led her to pursue a master's degree in creative writing at the International Institute of Modern Letters, where she honed her craft.

Her literary journey began with the publication of her debut novel, The Rehearsal, in two thousand eight. This remarkable work, which originated as her Master's thesis, garnered critical acclaim and was later adapted into a film in two thousand sixteen.
