Elfriede Kaun, born on October fifth, nineteen fourteen, in Büttel, Steinburg, was a remarkable German high jumper who left an indelible mark on the world of athletics.

Her athletic prowess was showcased at the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, where she achieved the remarkable feat of winning a bronze medal, solidifying her status as one of the top competitors of her time.
