Elis Bakaj

Elis Bakaj, born on June twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-seven, is a distinguished Albanian former professional footballer known for his versatility as an attacking midfielder and forward. His football journey began in the youth ranks of KF Kristali, where he honed his skills before making a significant move to Partizani Tirana.

In two thousand two, Bakaj embarked on his professional career with Partizani, where he showcased his talent until two thousand nine. His next chapter saw him don the colors of Dinamo Tirana, a fierce rival, for two years. Seeking new challenges, he ventured beyond Albania's borders to join the Romanian club Dinamo București, where he played for a season before making another leap to Ukraine with Chornomorets Odesa.

However, the civil unrest stemming from the two thousand fourteen Ukrainian revolution prompted Bakaj to return to his homeland. He signed with KF Tirana, marking his third stint with a club in Tirana, where he continued to make his mark on the field.

On the international stage, Bakaj has represented Albania since two thousand eight, earning over twenty-five caps. He made his debut that year and celebrated his first goal for the national team four years later, solidifying his place in Albanian football history.
