Elitsa Todorova

Elitsa Todorova, born on September second, nineteen seventy-seven, is a celebrated Bulgarian folk singer and accomplished percussionist. With a passion for ethno-music, she has made significant contributions to the genre, showcasing her unique talents through various traditional instruments.

In her musical journey, Todorova formed the duo Elitsa & Stoyan, which gained international recognition when they represented Bulgaria at the Eurovision Song Contest in two separate years. Their first appearance was in two thousand seven in Helsinki, followed by another memorable performance in two thousand thirteen in Malmö.

Elitsa's artistry is particularly noted for her innovative use of percussion instruments, including the Cosmic Tree, the Olympic drums of Bulgaria, and the Drum-Pyramid.
