Elizabeth Wathuti, born on August first, nineteen ninety-five, is a prominent Kenyan environmentalist and climate activist. She is the visionary founder of the Green Generation Initiative, an organization dedicated to instilling a love for nature and environmental consciousness in young people from an early age.
Through her tireless efforts, Elizabeth has successfully planted thirty thousand tree seedlings across Kenya, contributing significantly to the fight against climate change and promoting sustainable practices within her community.
In recognition of her impactful work, she was honored with the Africa Green Person of the Year Award in two thousand nineteen by the Eleven Eleven Twelve Foundation. Additionally, her influence and dedication to environmental advocacy earned her a spot among the one hundred Most Influential Young Africans, as recognized by the Africa Youth Awards.
