Élodie Ouédraogo

Élodie Ouédraogo, born on February twenty-seventh, nineteen eighty-one, is a retired Belgian sprinter of Burkinabé descent, renowned for her exceptional talent in the 200 metres and 400 m hurdles. Her athletic prowess has earned her the prestigious title of Olympic gold medalist, a testament to her dedication and skill in the sport.

Throughout her career, Ouédraogo achieved remarkable personal bests, including a time of twenty-three point eleven seconds in the 200 m, recorded in July two thousand four in Brussels. In the 400 m hurdles, she clocked an impressive fifty-five point twenty seconds during the 2012 Summer Olympics, solidifying her status as one of Belgium's top athletes.

In addition to her Olympic success, Ouédraogo is celebrated as the joint third-fastest Belgian woman in history, matching Nancy Callaerts with her best 100 metres time of eleven point forty seconds. Her achievements in the 200 metres place her fourth among Belgian women, following the likes of Kim Gevaert, Olivia Borlée, and Hanna Mariën.
