Elżbieta Witek

Elżbieta Witek, born on December seventeenth, nineteen fifty-seven, is a prominent Polish conservative politician affiliated with the Law and Justice party. Witek has served as the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland during the eighth and ninth parliamentary terms from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-three. Her political journey began in two thousand five, and she has been a member of the Sejm for five consecutive terms, demonstrating her enduring influence and leadership in Polish politics.

In addition to her role in the Sejm, Witek held significant positions in the government, including serving as the government spokeswoman from two thousand fifteen to two thousand sixteen. She was also a Minister-Member of the Council of Ministers and Head of the Prime Minister's Political Cabinet under the administrations of Beata Szydło and Mateusz Morawiecki from two thousand fifteen to two thousand seventeen. In two thousand nineteen, she took on the role of Minister of the Interior and Administration in Morawiecki's first cabinet.
