Emerson Palmieri

Emerson Palmieri dos Santos, born on August 3, 1994, is a talented professional footballer who currently plays as a left-back for Ligue 1 club Marseille. Originally hailing from Brazil, Emerson has made a significant mark on the international stage by representing the Italy national team.

His football journey began at Santos, his hometown club, before he made a pivotal move to Serie A's Roma in 2015, following a season on loan at Palermo. In 2018, Emerson transitioned to the Premier League, joining Chelsea, where he achieved remarkable success, winning prestigious titles including the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Champions League, and UEFA Super Cup.

After a fruitful loan spell with French club Lyon, Emerson signed with West Ham United in 2022. There, he etched his name in history as the only player to have won all four European Continental competitions, clinching the UEFA Europa Conference League in his debut season.

On the international front, Emerson initially represented Brazil at the under-17 level. However, after obtaining Italian citizenship in 2017, he chose to play for Italy. He made his senior debut in 2018 and was a key player in the squad that triumphed at UEFA Euro 2020.
