Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Emilie Autumn

Emilie Autumn, born on September twenty-second, nineteen seventy-nine, is a multifaceted American artist known for her unique blend of music and theatrical performance. Describing her musical style as 'Fairy Pop', 'Fantasy Rock', or 'Victoriandustrial', she draws inspiration from the Victorian era, glam rock, and various literary works. With her all-female backup dancers, The Bloody Crumpets, Autumn creates an enchanting experience that fuses classical music, cabaret, electronica, and glam rock with elements of burlesque.

Raised in Malibu, California, Autumn began her journey as a violinist at the tender age of four. By the time she was nine, she had left traditional schooling to pursue her dream of becoming a world-class violinist, dedicating eight to nine hours daily to practice. Her passion for music soon led her to write her own compositions, and she studied under various teachers before attending Indiana University. However, she departed from the institution due to conflicts regarding the relationship between classical music and the performer's appearance.

In nineteen ninety-seven, through her independent label Traitor Records, Autumn released her debut classical album, 'On a Day: Music for Violin & Continuo'. This was followed by her album 'Enchant' in two thousand three. Her career took a significant turn when she joined Courtney Love's backing band during the 'America's Sweetheart' tour in two thousand four, which led to her return to Europe. In two thousand six, she released 'Opheliac' with the German label Trisol Music Group, and in two thousand seven, she presented 'Laced/Unlaced', a re-release of her debut album featuring electric violin tracks.

In two thousand nine, Autumn transitioned to The End Records, based in New York, where she released 'Opheliac' in the United States. Her discography continued to grow with the release of 'Fight Like a Girl' in two thousand twelve. Additionally, she showcased her acting talents by portraying the Painted Doll in Darren Lynn Bousman's film 'The Devil's Carnival' in two thousand twelve, reprising her role in the sequel, 'Alleluia! The Devil's Carnival', in two thousand fifteen.
