Émilie Heymans

Émilie Heymans, born on December fourteenth, nineteen eighty-one, in Brussels, Belgium, is a distinguished Canadian competitive diver. Raised in Greenfield Park, a suburb of Montreal, she has made a significant mark in the world of diving, showcasing her talent on the international stage.

Throughout her illustrious career, Heymans has achieved remarkable success, winning a total of four Olympic medals—two bronze and two silver. Notably, she made history as the first female diver to secure medals in four consecutive Olympic Games, as well as being the first Canadian to accomplish this remarkable feat.

In addition to her Olympic achievements, Heymans is a one-time world champion and has claimed victory in four Pan American championships and one Commonwealth Games championship.
