Emily Coutts

Emily Coutts, born on July fourth, nineteen eighty-nine, is a talented Canadian actress celebrated for her role as Keyla Detmer, a bridge officer, in the acclaimed Paramount+ series Star Trek: Discovery.

A proud graduate of York University's drama program, Coutts has made significant contributions to the film industry as a writer, producer, and actress. Her passion for storytelling has led her to create and star in various independent short and feature films.

In addition to her work in film, she co-wrote and co-produced the engaging web series Beattie & Mae, showcasing her versatility and commitment to the craft alongside her collaborator, Melanie Leishman.
