Emin Ahmadov

Emin Ahmadov, born on October sixth, nineteen eighty-six, is a distinguished Azerbaijani wrestler and wrestling coach. His journey in the world of wrestling has been marked by significant achievements, most notably his performance at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

At the London Games, Ahmadov showcased his exceptional skills in the Greco-Roman men's seventy-four kilogram event. He made a remarkable run, defeating notable opponents such as Neven Zugaj and Zurab Datunashvili. However, his quest for gold was halted in the semi-finals by Arsen Julfalakyan.

Despite this setback, Ahmadov's Olympic journey was far from over. With Julfalakyan advancing to the finals, Ahmadov earned a chance to compete in the bronze medal repêchage. In a thrilling match, he triumphed over Aliaksandr Kikiniou, securing the bronze medal and solidifying his place in wrestling history.
