Emmanuel Kabongo

Emmanuel Kabongo is a talented Canadian actor and film producer, born on December twenty-fifth, nineteen eighty-six, in Zaire, now known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He immigrated to Canada, where he began his acting journey as an extra, gradually making his mark in the industry.

His breakthrough came with the Toronto-based web series Teenagers, which aired from two thousand fourteen to two thousand seventeen. Kabongo not only starred as the lead protagonist but also co-produced the series, earning his first Canadian Screen Award nomination in two thousand sixteen for his outstanding performance.

In addition to his work in web series, Kabongo has appeared in several feature films, including The Animal Project (two thousand thirteen), Pompeii (two thousand fourteen), Antibirth (two thousand sixteen), Brown Girl Begins (two thousand seventeen), Simulant (two thousand twenty-three), and Sway (two thousand twenty-four), the latter of which he also co-produced.
