Emperor Go-Tsuchimikado

Emperor Go-Tsuchimikado, born on July third, fourteen forty-two, was the one hundred third emperor of Japan, recognized in the traditional order of succession. His reign, which lasted from fourteen sixty-four to fifteen hundred, marked a significant period in Japanese history.

This sovereign of the fifteenth century was named in honor of the twelfth-century Emperor Tsuchimikado. The prefix 'go-' translates to 'later' in Japanese, allowing him to be referred to as the 'Later Emperor Tsuchimikado.' In some historical texts, he is also identified as 'Emperor Tsuchimikado, the second' or 'Emperor Tsuchimikado II.'
