Emperor Tianzuo of Liao

Emperor Tianzuo of Liao, born Yelü Yanxi on June fifth, one thousand seventy-five, was a significant figure in Chinese history as the ninth and final emperor of the Khitan-led Liao dynasty. His reign began in one thousand one hundred one, following the legacy of his grandfather, Emperor Daozong.
