Empress Teimei

Sadako Kujō, born on June twenty-fifth, eighteen eighty-four, was a prominent figure in Japanese history, posthumously honored as Empress Teimei. She was the beloved wife of Emperor Taishō and played a significant role as the mother of Emperor Shōwa, shaping the imperial lineage of Japan.
