Eni Aluko, born on February twenty-first, nineteen eighty-seven, in Lagos, Nigeria, is a distinguished British-Nigerian football executive, broadcaster, and former professional player. Relocating to Birmingham at just six months old, Aluko has made significant contributions to women's football both on and off the pitch. She is celebrated for her versatility, having played as a winger and striker throughout her career.
Aluko's football journey includes an impressive one hundred and two appearances for the England national team from two thousand four to two thousand sixteen. She showcased her talent on the world stage, competing in multiple prestigious tournaments, including the FIFA Women's World Cup in two thousand seven, two thousand eleven, and two thousand fifteen, as well as the UEFA Women's Euro in two thousand nine and two thousand thirteen. Notably, she represented Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
