As one of the key architects of the resurgence of Catalan national consciousness in the nineteenth century, he was also involved in drafting the Bases de Manresa in eighteen ninety-two. This foundational document laid out a proposed framework for self-government in Catalonia, marking a significant milestone in the region's political history.

Enric Prat de la Riba's legacy endures, and he is interred in the Montjuïc Cemetery in Barcelona, a testament to his lasting impact on Catalan identity and politics.
