Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Enver Hoxha

Enver Hoxha, born on October sixteenth, nineteen oh eight, in Gjirokastër, was a prominent Albanian communist revolutionary and statesman. He emerged as a key figure in Albania's political landscape, leading the country from nineteen forty-four until his death in nineteen eighty-five. Hoxha served as the First Secretary of the Party of Labour of Albania from nineteen forty-one, and held various significant positions including chairman of the Democratic Front of Albania and commander-in-chief of the Albanian People's Army.

After the Italian invasion of Albania, Hoxha played a crucial role in unifying the fragmented Albanian communist movement, leading to the establishment of the Communist Party of Albania. By March nineteen forty-three, he was elected as First Secretary at the young age of thirty-four. Following the liberation of Albania, he became the de facto head of state after the monarchy of King Zog I was abolished.

A staunch Marxist-Leninist, Hoxha transformed Albania into a one-party communist state, implementing a rigorous program of state atheism that led to the persecution of religious groups. His governance was marked by totalitarian methods, resulting in the imprisonment, execution, or exile of thousands, including landowners and dissenting party officials. Hoxha's regime is often regarded as one of the most repressive in modern history.

In the mid to late nineteen sixties, Hoxha's government was characterized by a firm adherence to anti-revisionist Marxism–Leninism. After a significant ideological split with Maoism between nineteen seventy-six and nineteen seventy-eight, he declared Albania's intent to independently forge a socialist society. This ideological stance inspired numerous parties worldwide to identify as Hoxhaist, with the International Conference of Marxist–Leninist Parties and Organisations (Unity & Struggle) being the most notable association.
