Epiphanius I of Ukraine, born on February third, nineteen seventy-nine, is a prominent Christian minister and journalist, currently serving as the primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) with the esteemed title of Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine.
Before assuming his current role, Metropolitan Epiphanius held the position of Metropolitan bishop of Pereiaslav and Bila Tserkva from two thousand thirteen to two thousand eighteen. His journey in the diocese began in two thousand ten, marking a significant chapter in his ecclesiastical career.
In addition to his religious duties, he has contributed to academia as a professor at the Department of Biblical and Philological Disciplines at the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy. His commitment to journalism is evident through his membership in both the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine and the International Federation of Journalists.
