Epitácio Pessoa

Epitácio Pessoa, born on May twenty-third, eighteen sixty-five, was a prominent Brazilian politician and jurist who ascended to the presidency as the eleventh leader of Brazil from nineteen nineteen to nineteen twenty-two. His presidency was notably marked by the emergence of the tenentist movement, a significant political shift that would eventually lead to the Revolution of nineteen thirty and the rise of Getúlio Vargas.

Before his presidency, Pessoa held various esteemed positions, including Minister of Justice, a justice in the Supreme Federal Court, and Attorney General.
