Ergin Ataman

Ergin Ataman, born on January seventh, nineteen sixty-six, is a prominent Turkish basketball coach and former player. Currently, he is at the helm of Panathinaikos in the Greek Basketball League and the EuroLeague, while also serving as the head coach of the Turkish national team.

Ataman's journey in basketball began in nineteen eighty-two when he played for Eczacıbaşı and Yeşilyurt basketball clubs in the amateur circuit. His transition from player to coach marked the beginning of a remarkable career that would see him rise to the pinnacle of European basketball.

Regarded as the most successful coach in Turkish basketball history, Ataman has achieved extraordinary feats, including three Euroleague titles in twenty twenty-one, twenty twenty-two, and twenty twenty-four. His back-to-back victories with Anadolu Efes in twenty twenty-one and twenty twenty-two were followed by a triumphant win with Panathinaikos BC in twenty twenty-four, marking a significant milestone in his coaching career.
