In addition to his rule in Norway, Eric Bloodaxe also held the title of King of Northumbria on two separate occasions. His first reign over Northumbria lasted from nine hundred forty-seven to nine hundred forty-eight, followed by a second term from nine hundred fifty-two to nine hundred fifty-four.
