Éric Caravaca, born on November twenty-first, nineteen sixty-six, is a multifaceted French talent known for his work as an actor, film director, and screenwriter. Hailing from a family with Spanish roots, he initially pursued literature while honing his acting skills. His journey in the performing arts took him to Paris, where he attended the prestigious l'École nationale supérieure d'arts et techniques du théâtre and furthered his training at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique.

In nineteen ninety-three, Caravaca ventured to New York City to study at the Actors Studio for a year, enriching his craft before returning to France. He made a significant mark in theatre, gaining recognition for his performance in Samuel Beckett's iconic play, Waiting for Godot. His film career began in nineteen ninety-six with a role in Diane Bertrand's Un samedi sur la terre, where he started to build his reputation in the industry.

Caravaca's breakthrough came in nineteen ninety-nine with the film C'est quoi la vie?, directed by François Dupeyron, which earned him the César Award for Most Promising Actor.
