Eric de Oliveira Pereira, known simply as Eric, was born on December fifth, nineteen eighty-five, in Brazil. He carved out a notable career as a professional footballer, primarily playing as an attacking midfielder. After starting his journey in Brazil, Eric ventured into international football, showcasing his talents across various countries including Romania, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Qatar.
Eric's most significant achievements came during his time in Romania, where he represented several clubs such as Gaz Metan Mediaș, Pandurii Târgu Jiu, Viitorul Constanța, and Voluntari. His impressive performance on the field led him to become the top foreign scorer in Liga I, amassing sixty-six goals since two thousand twenty.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sport, Eric was honored as the Foreign Player of the Year on two occasions, in two thousand ten and two thousand thirteen. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into a pivotal role in football development, currently serving as the head of youth development at Liga III club ACS Mediaș.
