Éric Zemmour

Éric Zemmour, born on August thirty-first, nineteen fifty-eight, in Montreuil, a suburb of Paris, is a prominent figure in French media and politics. He is known for his work as a writer, editorial columnist, journalist, and political pundit. Zemmour studied at Sciences Po and began his career as a reporter for Le Quotidien de Paris from nineteen eighty-six to nineteen ninety-six. He later joined Le Figaro, where he contributed until twenty twenty-one, establishing himself as a significant voice in French journalism.

In addition to his print journalism, Zemmour gained fame as a television personality. He was an editor and panelist on Face à l'Info, a daily show on CNews, from twenty nineteen to twenty twenty-one. His television appearances include roles on popular programs such as On n'est pas couché on France 2 and Ça se dispute on I-Télé, as well as co-hosting Zemmour et Naulleau on Paris Première. His radio career included hosting Z comme Zemmour on RTL from twenty ten to twenty nineteen.

Zemmour's controversial views, particularly regarding immigration and Islam in France, have sparked significant debate. He is known for advocating the Great Replacement conspiracy theory, which claims that white French citizens are being replaced by Muslims. In November twenty twenty-one, Zemmour announced his candidacy for the French presidential election and subsequently launched his nationalist political party, Reconquête.
