Erik Knutsson

Erik Knutsson, also known as Eric X, was born around the year 1180 and ascended to the throne of Sweden in 1208. His reign lasted until his untimely death on April 10, 1216. As the only surviving son of King Knut Eriksson, Erik's lineage was steeped in royal heritage, which played a significant role in his political journey.
