Ernests Gulbis, born on August 30, 1988, is a distinguished former professional tennis player from Latvia. He made history by achieving a career-high singles ranking of world No. 10 in June 2014, becoming the first male Latvian player to break into the top ten. His journey in tennis is marked by significant milestones, including his first ATP Tour doubles title at the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships in 2008, where he partnered with Rainer Schüttler.
In 2010, Gulbis claimed his inaugural ATP Tour singles title at the Delray Beach tournament, triumphing over Ivo Karlović in the final.
