Eshaq Jahangiri

Eshaq Jahangiri, born on January tenth, nineteen fifty-seven, is a prominent Iranian politician and engineer. He made significant contributions to the Iranian political landscape, serving as the sixth first vice president from two thousand thirteen until two thousand twenty-one under President Hassan Rouhani's administration.

Before ascending to the vice presidency, Jahangiri held the position of minister of industries and mines from nineteen ninety-seven to two thousand five during President Mohammad Khatami's tenure. His leadership in this role was marked by efforts to enhance Iran's industrial capabilities and mining sectors.

Jahangiri's political career also includes serving as the governor of Isfahan Province, where he played a crucial role in regional governance. Additionally, he was elected as a member of Parliament for two terms, further solidifying his influence in Iranian politics.
