Estrid of the Obotrites

Estrid of the Obotrites, born in the year nine hundred seventy-nine, was a prominent figure in the Viking Age, known for her noble lineage and significant role in Scandinavian history. As a West Slavic princess, she forged a powerful alliance through her marriage to Olof Skötkonung, the King of Sweden, around the turn of the millennium.
