Etrit Berisha

Etrit Berisha, born on March tenth, nineteen eighty-nine, is a distinguished professional footballer who currently plays as a goalkeeper for the Allsvenskan club BK Häcken. Originally hailing from Yugoslavia, he proudly represents the Albania national team, showcasing his skills on both domestic and international stages.

Berisha's football journey began in Kosovo, where he developed his talent with clubs 2 Korriku and KEK-u. His career took a significant turn in two thousand seven when he trained with Bashkimi in Kumanovo, leading to a trial with Swedish club Kalmar FF. After a successful loan spell at Lindsdals IF in two thousand nine, he joined Kalmar FF's senior squad in two thousand ten, where he made over one hundred appearances and earned the title of Allsvenskan Goalkeeper of the Year in two thousand thirteen.

In the summer of two thousand thirteen, Berisha signed a four-year contract with Serie A club Lazio, despite a pre-contract agreement with Chievo that led to a dispute. At Lazio, he primarily served as the second-choice goalkeeper but made notable contributions during his tenure. Following his departure in two thousand sixteen, he joined Atalanta, where he played a key role in the team's success in both domestic and European competitions.

After a loan to SPAL in two thousand nineteen, where he became the starting goalkeeper, Berisha moved to Torino in two thousand twenty-one. His time there was marked by challenges, including disputes with the coaching staff, leading to his exit in two thousand twenty-three. He then signed with Empoli, where he had a brief stint before joining BK Häcken in two thousand twenty-five, contributing to their Svenska Cupen victory.

On the international front, Berisha made his debut for the Albania national team in two thousand twelve and quickly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper. He played a pivotal role in Albania's historic participation in UEFA Euro 2016 and continued to represent his country until two thousand twenty-four, setting records for clean sheets and consecutive appearances.
